We understand the limitations of insurance-based medicine in both private practice and large healthcare corporations: long wait times for appointments, limitations on visits, working with an aide for the majority of treatment, and being rushed out the door for the next patient can prolong your recovery. At Sunshine PT, you will never feel rushed, we will find the solution to your problems, and you will spend one-on-one time with your physical therapist. No matter how long you have been dealing with your condition, we know that recovery is possible and we will help guide you there. I want to leave this review because now days you don’t come across Doctors that genuinely care, truly listen and give you personalized treatments based of your specific needs. I started seeing Dr. Stacie Groat for pelvic pain I was experiencing, my first session with her she was thorough on her assessment, getting to know and understand my symptoms and gave me a clear understanding of what our next session would be like which made me feel comfortable. My second time seeing her she did an examination based of my symptoms and educated me with home exercises to relieve my pain! She is kind, understanding and knowledgeable everything explained in terms I was able understand my body and the reason for my symptoms and how to improve Overall my pain is basically gone and I also have a better understanding of my body Thank you Dr. Groat!

I met Dr. Groat through a pelvic floor workshop at @ Yoga Six Long Beach. This was the best hour I ever invested in my health and well being. I was not comfortable talking about pelvic floor and bladder leaks until I went to this workshop. I was amazed the workshop was packed with individuals sharing the same challenges and lack of comfort in talking about it. I signed up for a consultation and have been participating in PT services with Dr. Groat for several weeks now. I'm stronger and confident every day because of her. She's so knowledgeable and provides great exercises to work on in between sessions. She's so positive and encouraging. This is the best investment in health and well-being. I'm so happy I met Dr. Groat and feel like I'm on the right path to strengthening my pelvic floor and building confidence. I'm no longer embarrassed. Talking about your pelvic floor is important!

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Groat. After we did a pelvic floor exam, she helped me navigate my twin pregnancy and ease my pain by giving me exercises and stretches to work on. I was very grateful for Dr. Groat because she made me feel safe and comfortable during the exam and during our conversation about my issues during pregnancy.
